It never fails.
This is the time of year that I find myself with a case of spring fever.
I know many of you are still buried in snow and you are probably even more anxious for spring than I am but, nonetheless, I am ready!
The other day I found some beautiful spring faux flower bunches. The vibrant colors were just screaming at me to take them home, so I did!
At first, I was going to make a wreath with the flowers, but then I remembered I had a new green tin hanging bucket that I used for Valentine’s Day. I decided to use it instead.
I just added the bright, happy flowers to the green fake foliage that I already had in there from Valentine’s Day. When I was finished, I decided it needed a little chalkboard stake.
If you’re not the crafty type and don’t like making your own wreaths, these little door buckets are the perfect alternative. It’s so easy to just add and arrange the flowers and foliage until you get it just the way you like it.
By the way, I recommend that you use floral foam inside the bucket to help everything stay put – especially if it’s hanging outdoors.
P.S. I found my door bucket at Hobby Lobby, but you can also find something similar on Amazon. Here is my affiliate link:

Oh I love the idea!! I have an old wreath with faded lilies-of-the-valley hanging on our back door. I moved it from the front door because it looked too raggedy. That bucket would be cute!! Thank you for the idea!
So glad you were inspired, Marisa!
Beautiful Julie..Great arrangement with that adorable chalkboard sign… and I love the container!…I need to get started on Spring door decor, but always have to make two…my next house?..one door!…Temperature here today is wind chill of below 15* and high of 19* . . . So with that said, I think I will start my spring wreaths as the porch does need a little Spring Cheer!
Thanks, so much, Shirley! Stay warm where you are!
Hi Julie ~
It’s all over – people talking about the weather. It is time to start thinking about spring, but I don’t think we will see it here in upstate NY for awhile. My only saving grace is – March is right around the corner, and we do have nice days every once in awhile.
I so love the little bucket on your door. I think this will be what I do for my spring arrangement.
You did such a pretty job. The colors do yell out SPRING ***
Everyone stay warm and have a wonderful day.
Much love,
Rose
Thank you, Rose! Stay warm and I hope winter doesn’t hang around for too much longer!
