Summer Decorating Inspiration

We all refer to the “lazy days of summer” but I often find they can be just as busy as the rest of the year.

True, we are busy doing more “relaxing” activities like going to the movies, swimming in the pool, and enjoying the outdoors but we are busy nonetheless.

This is the time of year, however, when I try to keep all my busy activities away from the computer.  It’s a time to be with my kids and focus on fun, active stuff.

But, friends, I couldn’t help myself this past week.  If you stopped by here, you know I was part of a fantastic tour of blog homes — the bHome Summer Open House tour.  It showcased 31 blogger homes, and y’all — they were AMAZING! And, I’m not just saying that.

I am so very truly honored to have taken part in the tour with this talented group, and I am also proud to be a blog featured on the bHome App with them as well. If you have not yet downloaded the app on your iPhone (Android is coming very, very soon!) I hope you’ll give it a try. If you love everything home and garden, you will love this app! Plus, you could win a $200 gift card to Painted Fox Treasures — details are at the end of this post.

If you missed this week’s Summer Open House tour I’ve got a few highlights to get you motivated to click for more:

This bright space is from Laura at Top This Top That.  Her home is so pretty, warm and welcoming — just like Laura!

I also love this beautiful back porch from my sweet friend, Rachel from Maison de Pax:

Yvonne from Stone Gable always styles her gorgeous home so beautifully and it really shines during the summer!

Bre, from Rooms for Rent, decorates in the most beautiful farmhouse style. Her kitchen, in particular, captures my eye. But, seriously, how can I choose just one of her beautiful spaces to be my favorite?

My good friend, Kelly, from My Soulful Home (and the brains behind the bHome App) always finds wonderful treasures and styles them so well. I especially love her knack for floral arranging.

I just don’t have enough words to describe this next blogger home tour. It’s from the Edith & Evelyn blog and, really, all I can say is just please go there and visit for yourself!

Of course, I shared a tour of my dining room as well. In case you missed it, you can find my contribution to the tour here.

If you missed any of the tour, the links to all 31 participating blogs is below but first, the details on that Painted Fox giveaway I was telling you about.

Download the bHome App — if you haven’t already — and leave me your username in the comments to submit your entry. If you’re already a bHome App user, leave me your username as well and you’ll be entered!  Easy!  Entries close at Midnight Eastern time, June 20, 2015.

Good luck and have fun exploring all these beautiful spaces!
